The RED Movie Awards (Reims Excellence Director) is an international competition held annually in Reims with a public screening, celebrating films and directors from around the world. For several years now, our mission has been to restore what too many film festivals have forgotten to offer filmmakers consistently: attention and respect. We want to discover, nurture and celebrate the best international and local talent in all areas of independent cinema. 

The annual ceremony will be held in Reims, the capital of champagne and French art de vivre. The best films will be screened in a cinema decorated in Belle Époque style. For the awards ceremony, put on your best outfit and walk our red carpet and photocall: many journalists will be present to cover the event. 

Our jury, composed of film industry professionals, will select the Best of the Year during the ceremony, and the winners will take home the prestigious RED Award. Filmmakers from around the world will walk our red carpet.
